Chicagoans know that March often roars in like a lion, but Spring will be here before you know it, soon the snow will melt away, and the Chicago River will flow green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day!  While we wait on April showers to bring May flowers, there’s plenty to keep you busy throughout the last month of winter.

Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2)

McCormick Place will be transforming into a mecca of comic, cosplay, and pop culture the final weekend in February.   They’ll be autograph sessions with famous celebrities including Mark Ruffalo and William Shatner, as well as a number of panels, exhibitions, screening rooms and much more!  It’s a great way to close out February and leap into March!

Chicago Botanic Garden Orchid Show

It may be cold outside, but it’s warm inside at the Orchid Show Greenhouses and Galleries with over 10,000 brilliant blooms on display in a kaleidoscope of color.

Celebrating 65 years of love, loyalty and friendship, the 2020 St. Patrick’s Day Parade steps off at noon at Balbo and Columbus.  Join the tradition along the Riverwalk near the Michigan Avenue Bridge to watch the festivities kick-off with the dyeing of the Chicago River.
